The first part of an epic written in the form of a progressive metal & rock opera, taking place in a distant world and galaxy. A trio of heroes embark on a journey to investigate several disturbing occurrences, foreshadowing the encroaching darkness. Their adventure takes them through woods, wilderness, damp caverns, vast cities, and bone-filled dungeons. So many enemies lurk behind veils and masks...

This album is written in a myriad of styles and influences, ranging from a multitude of metal genres to classical and theatrical music. It was written in a way to express different elements and themes, with clean and harsh vocals to match suite. There are times the music is rhythmic, melodic, dissonant, or all of the above.
